Emma is an experienced psychologist with a unique background which contributes to her pragmatic, client-focused approach. Her state representative experiences as an athlete in swimming, athletics and volleyball lead her to apply the characteristics of successful high performance firstly to athletes, and subsequently to businesspeople. Having completed a Masters in Applied Psychology at Victoria University in 2002, she accepted a two-year position in the Performance Psychology Department at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. During this time she worked with a wide range of athletes and coaches, and travelled domestically and internationally to present seminars and workshops related to performance enhancement, general wellbeing and crisis intervention.
Upon her return to Melbourne in 2005 Emma has worked across various industries including elite sport, Defence Force, tertiary education, and private corporations. Emma is skilled in both working with individuals and groups, and remains passionate about helping others to achieve their potential.
